Neste artigo, faz-se o levantamento das diferentes propostas de existência de infixos em português, acompanhadas dos comentários crÃticos correspondentes. O objetivo é mostrar que provavelmente não existe, em nossa lÃngua, esse tipo de morfema.
This article is a survey of the various views about the existence of infixes in Portuguese, followed by critical comments. It aims to show that, most probably, this type of morpheme is non-existent in the language under study.
