Este artigo pretende abordar o problema dos limites do conhecimento humano e sua relação com o uso especulativo da razão pura em Kant. A razão humana, criticamente esclarecida por Kant, encontra-se em uma situação essencialmente dilemática: está naturalmente limitada, pelas próprias condições transcendentais, ao domÃnio da experiência possÃvel; e, não obstante, “sente†um indomável “desejo†(especulativo) por questões metafÃsicas, as quais inevitavelmente extrapolam os limites criticamente estabelecidos. Analisando o conceito de “limiteâ€, apresentado na Critica da razão pura por Kant, o objetivo é demonstrar que este dilema natural da razão teórica não é algo contraditório, que comprometa a unidade basilar da razão pura, mas sim uma questão fundamental, coerente e necessária, a qual confirma a estabilidade do sistema crÃtico kantiano.
This article aims to address the problem of the limits of knowledge and its relationship with the speculative use of pure reason in Kant. Human reason, critically informed by Kant, finds itself in a quandary situation essentially, after Kant analysis. This situation is naturally limited by the very transcendental conditions of reason to the domain of possible experience. However "feels" an uncontrollable "desire" by metaphysical questions, that inevitably go beyond the established critical boundaries. Analyzing the concept of "limit", presented at the Critique of Pure Reason by Kant, the objective is to demonstrate this dilemma nature of pure reason is not contradictory until the point which may compromises the basic unit of pure reason, but a fundamental question, coherent and necessary, which confirms the stability of the Kantian critical system.
