A mulher com câncer de mama mastectomizada é um dos extremos das ressignificações e reconfigurações do cotidiano e imaginário feminino. A escolha por trabalhar com o cotidiano e imaginário dá-se por serem estes formadores do terreno para o alicerçamento das diferenciações, significações, complexidades e heterogeneidades do universo do ser/feminino. O objetivo deste estudo é oferecer uma aproximação do impacto do existir com câncer de mama e do ser mastectomizada, procurando relacionar a perda do signo de feminilidade para a conformação de auto-imagens e autoprojeções de inferioridade, assexualidade e esterilidade, confrontando com o processo de trabalho da enfermagem frente à problemática. O caminho metodológico empregado foi à pesquisa bibliográfica para fundamentar a discussão que cerceia o tema. Destaca-se o caráter imprescindível de refletir acerca do processo de trabalho da enfermagem e os estigmas vivenciados por mulheres mastectomizadas, nos pondo na busca da construção de relações plurais, dialógicas e dinâmicas entre estes sujeitos sociais.
The woman with mastectomized breast cancer is one of the extremes of the resignifications and reconfigurations of the female everyday and imaginary. The choice to work with the everyday and imaginary is because they are the formers of the ground for the foundation of the differentiations, meanings, complexities and heterogeneities of the universe of being / female. The aim of this study is to provide an approximation of the impact of being with breast cancer and being mastectomized, seeking to relate the loss of femininity to the conformation of self-images and self-projections of inferiority, asexuality and sterility, confronting the process of nursing work facing the problem. The methodological approach used was the bibliographic research to support the discussion that surrounds the theme. We highlight the indispensable character of reflecting on the nursing work process and the stigmas experienced by mastectomized women, putting us in search of building plural, dialogical and dynamic relationships between these social subjects.
