Este artigo demonstra o benefÃcio da aplicação de treinamento de pessoal para redução de custos logÃsticos. Para isso, o estudo se delimita ao setor de transporte rodoviário no Brasil, discutindo práticas atualmente correntes e seus benefÃcios ao controle e redução de custos na atividade. Na composição de custos de negócios na área de transportes, vários fatores e ações especÃficas devem ser analisadas para promover mudanças no negócio.
This article shows the benefits of applying personnel training aiming at the reduction of logistic costs. For this, the study is delimited to the trucking industry in Brazil, currently discussing current practices and their benefits to control and reduce costs in the activity. In the composition of business costs in transportation, many factors and specific actions should be analyzed to promote changes in business.
