O presente estudo tem por objetivo analisar as repercussões emocionais do socorrista que lida com atendimentos que
evoluem para óbito, a partir da análise da produção de artigos existentes. Trata-se de abordagem qualitativa, a partir de uma
análise exploratória de busca bibliográfica parcial, de produções cientificas visando descrever as reações que profissional do
resgate tem frente à morte. Os artigos foram selecionados inicialmente, dentre aqueles disponÃveis na base de dados Scielo,
utilizando os descritores: enfermagem, acidentes de trânsito, vÃtimas de desastres. Após leitura atenta foram selecionados,
para o estudo seis artigos que atendiam ao objetivo proposto pela pesquisa. Os dados foram agrupados e organizados
quanto às semelhanças e confluências de sentidos, conceitos e explicações, buscando a construção de categorias de análise.
The present study aims to examine the emotional repercussions of the rescuer that handles calls that progress to
death from the analysis of production from existing articles. This is a qualitative approach, from an exploratory
analysis of bibliographic part of scientific production in order to describe the reactions of the rescue work
when facing death. The articles were initially selected among those available in the Scielo database using
the keywords: nursing, traffic accidents, victims of disasters. After careful reading, six articles that met the
objectives of the research were selected for the study. The data were grouped and organized about the similarities
and convergences of meaning, concepts and explanations, seeking the construction of categories of analysis.
