Este trabalho descreve, brevemente, a democracia de público brasileira e as imagens das lideranças políticas que já tiveram adesão do eleitorado. Argumenta-se que o tipo ideal descrito por Manin (1995) mudou: o povo ganhou protagonismo e sua imagem passou a importar. A eleição de 2018 se desenvolveu dentro desse novo contexto e foi marcada pelas atuações de mulheres contra e favor de Bolsonaro. Este trabalho indaga quais os significados de feminismo e feministas para as eleitoras do candidato, tendo como corpus as publicações do grupo do Facebook “Mulheres com Bolsonaro#17 [Oficial]”. A metodologia utilizada alia perspectiva de gênero à análise do discurso.
This paper briefly describes the democracy of the Brazilian public and the images of the political leaders who have already had the support of the electorate. It is argued that the ideal type described by Manin (1995) has changed: the people gained prominence and their image began to matter. The election of 2018 developed within this new context and was marked by the actions of women against and favor of Bolsonaro. This paper investigates the meanings of feminism and feminists for the candidates of the candidate, having as corpus the publications of the Facebook group "Mulheres com Bolsonaro#17 [Oficial]". The methodology used for the analysis of discourse.
