Durante os últimos séculos, a mulher tem lutado pelo seu direito de igualdade. Toda luta em busca de seu espaço na sociedade marca a visão da figura da mulher na evolução histórica, o que se tornou impactante e ocasionou os avanços atuais. Objetivou-se investigar a evolução feminina, através de seu perfil histórico, considerando três gerações diferentes, bem descrevendo a sua inserção e reconhecimento como cidadã digna de respeito e relevo social. Ancora-se metodologicamente como uma pesquisa do tipo revisão bibliográfica, para isso, foram selecionados artigos e outras produções científicas (dissertações e teses) no banco de dados eletrônicos da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), SciELO e Lilacs, utilizando-se os seguintes descritores: gênero, mulher, feminismo e direitos das mulheres, presentes em estudos tendo como eixo condutor a análise da trajetória feminina e sua função em diferentes períodos e segmentos sociais. Nos resultados e discussões, identificamos o objeto de estudo como: “Mulheres do século XX: Breve resgate histórico” em três amostras: A mulher da primeira geração (década de 20 a 40); A Mulher da Segunda Geração (década de 50 a 70) e A Mulher da Terceira Geração (década de 80 a 2000), relatando sobre sua posição no contexto familiar, a forma de educação lhes direcionada, os relacionamentos, o trabalho e as transformações das políticas reprodutivas e sexuais que foram essenciais para que ela passasse a ser vista e tratada sob um novo olhar, referenciando também o pensamento de estudiosos sobre a mulher, seu papel e influências em seu meio, o movimento feminista e a luta pela conquista de seus direitos. Assim, consideramos que a ligação entre as características na construção da identidade feminina pertencentes a gerações distintas permitiu relacionar perfis que vão do comum ao extremamente incomum, mesmo ainda existindo muita disparidade entre gêneros, após essa pesquisa, perceberam-se importantes avanços acerca desta discussão.
During the last centuries, women have been fighting for their right to equality. Every struggle in search of their space in society marks the vision of the figure of women in historical evolution, which has become impactful and has led to current advances. The objective was to investigate female evolution through its historical profile, considering three different generations, as well as describing its insertion and recognition as a citizen worthy of respect and social prominence. It is methodologically anchored as a bibliographic review research. For this, articles and other scientific productions (dissertations and theses) were selected in the electronic database of the Virtual Health Library (VHL), SciELO and Lilacs, using the following: Descriptors: gender, women, feminism and women's rights, present in studies that have as their guiding axis the analysis of the female trajectory and its function in different periods and social segments. In the results and discussions, we identified the object of study as: “Women of the twentieth century: Brief historical rescue” in three samples: The woman of the first generation (20 to 40 years); Women of the Second Generation (1950s to 1970s) and Women of the Third Generation (1980s to 2000s), reporting on their position in the family context, the form of education directed at them, their relationships, work, and transformations. reproductive and sexual policies that were essential for her to be seen and treated in a new way, also referencing the thought of scholars about women, their role and influences in their environment, the feminist movement and the struggle for the conquest of their rights. . Thus, we consider that the link between the characteristics in the construction of female identity belonging to different generations allowed to relate profiles that go from the common to the extremely unusual, even though there is still a great disparity between genders, after this research, important advances were noticed about this discussion.
