No contexto da cultura pop japonesa, as anisongs (músicas de animê) desempenham um papel fundamental como temas de abertura e encerramento das animações. Reconhecendo a importância dessas canções, este artigo tem como objetivo analisar suas contribuições para a visualização do animê One Piece, por meio de um estudo de caso focado na primeira abertura da série: We Are! Com base em discussões sobre videoclipe (Soares, 2004) e música para cinema (Gorbman, 1987), aprofundadas pelos modos de escuta de Chion (2011) e Carvalho (2007), investiga-se como ocorre a articulação entre som, letra e a sequência animada que acompanha a faixa. Conclui-se que a canção atua como um potente dispositivo de visualização, criando uma paisagem sonora harmônica com o enredo da obra. Essa conexão estabelece uma relação simbiótica entre anisong e animê, sintetizando a energia da narrativa na abertura e sinalizando ao espectador o tom do que será assistido. Observa-se também que a sonoridade de We Are! reverbera ao longo das mais de duas décadas de exibição de One Piece, sendo fundamental para a consolidação da identidade sonora da franquia
In the context of Japanese pop culture, anisongs (anime theme songs) play a fundamental role as opening and ending themes of animations. Recognizing the importance of these songs, this article aims to analyze their contributions to the visualization of the anime One Piece, through a case study focused on the series' first opening theme: We Are!. Based on discussions of music videos (Soares, 2004) and film music (Gorbman, 1987), deepened by the listening modes proposed by Chion (2011) and Carvalho (2007), this paper investigates how the articulation between sound, lyrics, and the accompanying animated sequence occurs. It is concluded that the song acts as a powerful visualization device, creating a soundscape that is harmonious with the work's plot. This connection establishes a symbiotic relationship between the anisong and the anime, synthesizing the narrative's energy in the opening and signaling to the viewer the tone of what is to be watched. It is also noted that the sonority of We Are! reverberates throughout the more than two decades of One Piece's exhibition, being fundamental to the consolidation of the franchise's sonic identity
