Este artigo pretende investigar a presença de aspectos e princípios teatrais defendidos pelo diretor, autor e ator francês Jacques Copeau (1879-1949) no trabalho da diretora, também francesa, Ariane Mnouchkine (1939) à frente do Théâtre du Soleil. Pretende ainda examinar de que forma, no âmbito de processos práticos, tais aspectos e princípios se prolongam na formação de atores da trupe francesa.
This article investigates the presence of aspects and principles defended by theater director, author and actor Jacques Copeau (1879-1949) in the work of the director, also French, Ariane Mnouchkine (1939) ahead of the Théâtre du Soleil. It also aims to examine how, in the scope of practical processes, these aspects and principles extend in the actors training of the French troupe.
