O texto disserta sobre o ensino do teatro, estabelecendo um paralelo sobre a evolução da educação e o uso do teatro na educação. O ensino do teatro exige conhecimento teórico e saberes de dois extensos e complexos campos do conhecimento humano: Teatro e Educação. No ensino de teatro deve-se estabelecer o conceito de teatro e o referencial metodológico para encaminhar uma prática teatral. Dentre as várias propostas pedagógicas de teatro apresentadas na modernidade, o texto destaca a que se refere à Viola Spolin, em Improvisação para o Teatro (1992).
The text talks about the teaching of the theater, establishing a parallel on the evolution of education and theater in education. The teaching of the theater practice requires theoretical knowledge and knowledge of two large and complex fields of human knowledge: Theatre and Education. In the teaching of the theater there should be established the concept of theater and the theoretical framework to direct a theatrical practice. Among various pedagogical proposals presented in the modern theater, stands out here the one which refers to Viola Spolin in Improvisação para o Teatro (1992).
