Na Filosofia Contemporânea, é Bergson que, preocupado com questões gnosiológicas e metafÃsicas, investiga com profunda perspicácia o fenômeno mÃstico, relacionando-o com os eixos fundamentais da sua filosofia, isto é, a duração (la durée) e a intuição. Este artigo confronta o pensamento de São João da Cruz com o pensamento bergsoniano, com a intenção de elucidar aspectos fundamentais do misticismo.
Concerned with epistemological and metaphysical subjects, Bergson investigates with deep wit the mystic phenomenon, relating it with the fundamental axes of his philosophy, that is to say, the duration (la durée) and the intuition. This article confronts the thought of St, John of the Cross with the thought of Bergson in order to elucidate fundamental aspects of the mysticism.
