O objetivo deste texto consiste em refletir sobre a relação entre o trabalho do artista, o trabalho do professor, o processo formativo e a educação emancipatória em contraposição à postura definida para o artífice após a sua integração às novas formas de trabalho, decorrentes das transformações socioeconômicas e culturais ocorridas no alvorecer da sociedade capitalista. A reflexão sobre essas questões tem como fundamento teórico a Teoria Crítica Adorniana. Para tanto, foram eleitas como categorias de análise: a autonomia, o estranhamento e o distanciamento, a relação entre conteúdo e forma e a liberdade. Elas compõem as características da obra de arte e servem de parâmetro para a educação emancipatória, na qual o trabalho do professor seja análogo ao trabalho do artista.

This text reflect on the relationship between the work of the teacher, the work of the artist, the formative process and emancipatory education in opposition to the posture defined for the artist after its integration to the new forms of work, resulting from socioeconomic transformations and cultural events in the dawn of capitalist society. The theoretical reflection on these questions is based on the Adornian Critical Theory. For that, they were chosen as categories of analysis: autonomy, estrangement and estrangement, the relation between content and form and freedom. They make up the characteristics of the work of art they are parameter for emancipatory education, in which the work of the teacher is similar to the work of the artist.
