Este artigo propõe-se a analisar o debate sobre a questão energética nas conferências realizadas pela ONU, avaliando a evolução concedida ao tema nos últimos quarenta anos. Constata-se que as modificações por ora ocorridas no setor energético brasileiro demonstram uma convergência em relação ao que vem sendo preconizado pela ONU.

This article proposes to analyze the debates on the energy issue in the conferences realized by the UN, evaluating the evolution granted to the subject in the last forty years. It is noted that the modifications for now occurred in the Brazilian energy sector demonstrates a convergence in relation to what is being recommended by the UN.
