Este estudo discorre sobre a importância dos orientadores educacionais e os dilemas vividos por estes profissionais na abordagem da sexualidade no ambiente escolar. Elegeram-se como objetivos desta pesquisa debater sobre a importância da Orientação Educacional quanto ao tratamento da sexualidade no ambiente escolar; reconhecer a importância da abordagem da educação sexual na construção do saber realizado de forma harmoniosa pelos alunos; verificar como o trabalho do professor pode ser realizado de maneira dinâmica quanto à questão da sexualidade; e conhecer as principais dificuldades enfrentadas pelos orientadores educacionais no trato da sexualidade com os aprendizes. Para atender a proposta do presente trabalho optou-se pela abordagem qualitativa, sendo o relato apresentado de forma discursiva, utilizando-se pesquisa bibliográfica. Foram abordados os seguintes assuntos: infância e adolescência, educação sexual de crianças e adolescentes e dificuldades e desafios vivenciados pelos orientadores educacionais no trato da sexualidade junto aos alunos. A pesquisa bibliográfica foi realizada entre 28 de abril e 22 de outubro de 2018. Como principais resultados deste trabalho podem-se afirmar que: a sexualidade é inerente ao ser humano, por isso a necessidade de ser abordada no ambiente escolar; e geralmente professores e pedagogos têm dificuldades em trabalhar este assunto com os alunos. Conclui-se que os educadores, dentre eles os atuantes na área de Orientação Educacional, necessitam superar suas dificuldades quanto ao tratamento da sexualidade nas escolas mediante a construção de um perfil adequado, o que será de grande importância para o bom entendimento deste tema por parte dos educandos.

This study discusses the importance of educational guiding and the dilemmas experienced by these professionals in the approach of sexuality in the school environment. Elected as the objectives of this research discuss about the importance of the educational orientation regarding the treatment of sexuality in the school environment; recognize the importance of the approach of sexual education in the construction of knowledge performed smoothly by students; check how the teacher's work can be carried out of the dynamic way on the question of sexuality ; and know the main difficulties faced by educational guiding in gastrointestinal of sexuality with the learners. To meet the proposal of this work a qualitative approach was chosen, being the report of discursive form, using bibliographic research. The following issues were considered: childhood and adolescence, sexual education of children and adolescents and difficulties and challenges experienced by educational guiding the outflow tract of sexuality with students. The bibliographic research was performed between 28 April and 22 October 2018. As the main results of this work can affirm that: sexuality is inherent in the human being, therefore the need to be addressed in the school environment; and usually teachers and pedagogues have difficulties in working on this issue with the students. It is concluded that the educators, among them the active in the area of Educational Guidance, they need to overcome their difficulties regarding the treatment of sexuality in schools through the construction of a proper profile, which will be of great importance to the proper understanding of this issue on the part of the learners.
