O presente estudo tem como objetivo principal analisar, por meio da percepção dos gestores públicos municipais do município de Ituiutaba/MG, se os atributos da liderança sustentável estão presentes em suas práticas de gestão. A pesquisa é de cunho qualitativo e utilizou dados coletados mediante documentos e entrevistas semiestruturadas com gestores municipais no município tijucano. As informações recolhidas na coleta foram submetidas às técnicas de análise de conteúdo. Os principais achados revelaram que os gestores municipais percebem a liderança sustentável como uma temática recente, que necessita ser disseminado para orientar ações com enfoque na sustentabilidade. Da mesma forma, verifica-se, também, que os resultados da pesquisa evidenciam que os atributos da liderança sustentável têm baixa maturidade de incorporação nas ações decisórias do dia a dia dos gestores pesquisados, reforçando a ideia de estudos que mostram que a inexistência destes atributos inibe o desenvolvimento sustentável.
The main objective of this study was to analyze, based on the perception of municipal public managers in the municipality of Ituiutaba/MG, whether the attributes of sustainable leadership are present in their management practices. The research is qualitative and uses data collected from documents and semi-structured interviews with municipal managers in the Ituiutaba/MG city. Likewise, it was also found that the research results showed that the attributes of sustainable leadership have low maturity of incorporation into the day-to-day decision-making actions of the managers surveyed, reinforcing the idea of studies that show that the lack of these attributes inhibits sustainable development.
