Os objetivos desta pesquisa foram investigar as conseqüências do ASI (Abuso Sexual Infantil) em uma vítima e contribuir para a prevenção do ASI. A criança que é vítima de abuso sexual prolongado, usualmente desenvolve uma perda violenta da auto-estima, tem a sensação de que ela não vale nada e adquire uma representação anormal da sexualidade. Algumas crianças abusadas sexualmente podem ter dificuldades para estabelecer relações harmônicas com outras pessoas, podem se transformar em adultos que também irão abusar de outras crianças, podem se inclinar para a prostituição ou podem ter outros problemas sérios quando adultos.
The objectives of this research were to investigate the consequences of CSA (Child Sexual Abuse) on a victim and to contribute to the prevention of CSA. A child who is a victim of prolonged sexual abuse usually develops a severe loss of self-esteem, has the feeling that he or she is worthless and acquires an abnormal representation of sexuality. Some sexually abused children may have difficulty establishing harmonious relationships with other people, may grow up to be adults who also abuse other children, may be inclined towards prostitution or may have other serious problems as adults.
