O presente trabalho trata de algumas anotações envolvendo temas como feminino e masculino, o corpo da mulher, sua condição na sociedade, “a mulher como imagem, o homem como dono do olharâ€, nas palavras de Laura Mulvey, e a relação destes temas com o filme Inconscientes, de JoaquÃn Oristrell. Em meados do século XX, o senso comum considerava que a mulher devia ter uma “conduta femininaâ€, ou seja, devia obediência ao marido, devia estar na condição de passividade, de esposa e mãe, recatada, subordinada, submissa. Entretanto não é assim que a protagonista do filme se porta. Existe mesmo uma “conduta feminina†a ser seguida? Um ilustre personagem do filme, Professor Sigmund Freud, nos ajuda a formular uma resposta.
This paper addresses some issues involving notes as feminine and masculine, the woman's body, her status in society, "the woman as image, the man as master of the look" in the words of Laura Mulvey, and the relation of these subjects to the film Inconscientes, by Joaquin Oristrell. In the beginning of the twentieth century, the common sense considered that women should have a "feminine behavior", that is, she should obey the husband, should be in the condition of passivity, of wife and mother, demure, dependent, submissive. However that is not the way the protagonist of the film behaves. Is there really a "feminine behavior" to be followed? A distinguished character in the film, Professor Sigmund Freud, helps us to formulate an answer.
