Este estudo tem como objetivo explorar e aprofundar a análise que envolve a utilização do teletrabalho como instrumento presente nas relações laborais, com elevada ênfase desde a emergência da Covid-19. Tomando a formação do corpo teórico como marco, com a apresentação de estudos desenvolvidos por outros pesquisadores, caminha-se na direção da constatação de que há evidentes riscos sociais para o trabalhador que, impelido compulsoriamente a aderir a tal formato, se vê diante de um panorama desfavorável, com clara desconfiguração nos seus direitos sociais, mesmo aqueles naturalmente previstos na Constituição Federal de 1988 (CF/88). Como resultado, propugna-se aqui que, não obstante o teletrabalho se constituir uma alternativa atual e moderna, a sua adoção representa, em muitas situações, a institucionalização do desmonte social, cuja repercussão imediata é a ausência de cobertura social para os trabalhadores, fragilizando a cidadania e a própria democracia, enquanto vetor de consubstanciamento das conquistas sociais.

This study aims to explore and deepen the analysis that involves the use of telecommuting as an instrument present in labor relations, with high emphasis during the COVID-19 emergency. Taking the formation of the theoretical body as a milestone, with the presentation of studies developed by other researchers, we move towards the realization that there are evident social risks for the worker who, compulsorily compelled to adhere to such a format, is faced with a unfavorable scenario, with a clear misconfiguration of their social rights, even those naturally provided for in the Federal Constitution of 1988 (CF/88). As a result, it is argued here that, despite telecommuting being a current and modern alternative, its adoption represents, in many situations, the institutionalization of social dismantling, whose immediate repercussions are the lack of social coverage for workers, weakening citizenship and democracy itself, as a vector of consubstantiation of social conquests.
