A pós-modernidade ficou conhecida como um período fortemente marcado pelo individualismo, pelo uso excessivo da tecnologia, e perda de valores tidos como certos pela modernidade. Tais mudanças alteraram a cultura, a arte, a política e a relação entre os indivíduos, estabelecendo novos vínculos entre a religião e a espiritualidade. Diante deste cenário, o presente artigo tem por objetivo, refletir acerca desse período histórico, tendo como referência teórica, a Teologia da Libertação. A partir das contribuições dos teólogos da libertação, busca-se compreender de que maneira esses líderes interpretam a religiosidade pós-moderna. Os representantes da Teologia da Libertação defendem uma corrente teológica que sempre buscou a emancipação dos pobres e a justiça social, conclamando a Igreja a uma maior participação política. Deste modo, o olhar destes pensadores irá nortear a pesquisa, haja visto seu engajamento com temáticas recorrentes da pós-modernidade, em busca de uma relação dialógica com a espiritualidade e teologia.
Post-modernity was known as a period strongly marked by individualism, excessive use of technology, and loss of values taken for granted by modernity. Such changes changed culture, art, politics and the relationship between individuals, establishing new links between religion and spirituality. Given this scenario, this article aims to reflect on this historical period, having as the oretical reference, the Liberation Theology. Based on the contributions of liberation theologians, we seek to understand how these leaders interpret postmodern religiosity. Liberation Theology representatives defend a theological current that has always so ught the emancipation of the poor and social justice, calling on the Church for greater political participation. In this way, the look of these thinkers will guide the research, having seen their engagement with recurrent themes of post-modernity, in searc h of a dialogical relationship with spirituality and theology.
