PAISAGEM, CULTURA E IDENTIDADE: OS POLONESES EM RIO CLARO DO SUL, MALLET (PR)

Resumo Português:

A presente pesquisa parte de uma abordagem humanístico-cultural - a fenomenologia,
com contribuições específicas da arquitetura e da sociologia para analisar as ações,
as relações, os significados e decodificar as simbologias que transformam os
“espaços” em “lugares”. Apresenta-se uma discussão sobre paisagem, identidade
cultural, “raça” e etnicidade tendo como pano de fundo a comunidade do distrito de
Rio Claro do Sul, Mallet (PR), de onde inicialmente foram destacados elementos
arquitetônicos intimamente relacionados com a identidade étnica dos que habitam o
lugar, marcadamente os poloneses, para em seguida traçar considerações sobre as
imagens como portadoras de simbolismo e como fonte de dados para o despertar do
imaginário, partindo finalmente para uma proposta de caracterização do que vem a ser
a identidade étnica polonesa no distrito. Percebeu-se inicialmente uma perda e
alteração de elementos arquitetônicos na paisagem, além da inserção de novos, de
onde se procurou demonstrar as relações entre a imagem ambiental (dado) e sua
contribuição para o imaginário (processo).

Resumo Inglês:

The present research comes from a humanistic-cultural approach – the
phenomenology, with specific contributions of the architecture and sociology to analyze
the actions, the relations, the meanings and decode the symbolism that change the
“spaces” into “places”. There is a discussion about the landscape, cultural identity,
“race” and ethnicity with the community of the district of Rio Claro do Sul, Mallet as the
setting, from where firstly architectonic elements intimately related with the ethnic
identity from the ones who live there were pointed out, mainly the Polish, and then to
trace the final considerations about the images as beares of symbolism and as data
source to the arousing of the imagination, straight finally to a proposal of
characterization of what is the Polish ethnic identity in the district. It could be firstly
realized a loss and alteration of the architectonic elements in the landscape, as well as
the insertion of new ones, from where it was demonstrated by the relations between
the environmental image (data) and its contribution to the imagination (process).
