O livro Estudos de Televisão: Diálogos Brasil-Portugal apresenta, em treze artigos, um panorama abrangente das investigações realizadas sobre a TV nos dois paÃses de lÃngua portuguesa. Tal intercâmbio de reflexões sobre a televisão está organizado em dois eixos temáticos: o primeiro se dedica à análise de programas de diversos gêneros e formatos, bem como dos modos de representação do indivÃduo e da multidão na televisão; o segundo enfrenta a discussão de modelos teórico-metodológicos, novos ou já consolidados, para a análise de sistemas televisivos e de seus processos de recepção.
An Overview of TV Investigations In Brazil and Portugal. Throughout 13 articles the book Estudos de Televisão: Diálogos Brasil-Portugal (Television Studies: Dialogues Brazil-Portugal) presents an overview of researches about TV developed in these two portuguese-speaking countries. Such reflection’s exchange is organized into two thematic axes: the first one is dedicated to the analysis of programs of several types and formats, as well as ways of representation of the individual and the crowd on television. The second is devoted to the discussion of theoretical-methodological models, new or already established ones, for the analysis of television systems and their processes of reception.
