PARALISIA CEREBRAL E DISFAGIA INFANTIL COM ÊNFASE NA ATUAÇÃO FONOAUDIOLÓGICA

A Paralisia Cerebral engloba grandes distúrbios, dentre eles a disfagia, que se faz presente em praticamente todas a classificações, podendo apresentar-se em diferentes graus e resultar em vários outros problemas como aspirações, desnutrição, desidratação e pneumonias. Objetivo: Assim, nesta pesquisa aborda-se as dificuldades da criança com PC em relação a disfagia e enfatiza o trabalho do fonoaudiólogo neste ambiente. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão sistemática da literatura, cuja pergunta norteadora é: “Quais as repercussões sobre a disfagia em crianças com Paralisia Cerebral e atuação fonoaudiológica neste contexto?”. O período estimado para completa realização do estudo de revisão bibliográfica abrangeu os meses de dezembro de 2022 a agosto de 2023. Foram incluídos artigos relacionados à Disfagia Infantil e Paralisia Cerebral, disponíveis nas bases de dados: Google acadêmico, Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciELO) e Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) de forma integral e gratuita, publicados no idioma português no ano de 2017 a 2022. Resultados: A amostra final resultou em 6 artigos, sendo 3 encontrados na base de dados Google Acadêmico, 2 na base Scielo e 1 na BVS, apresentando resultados sobre as repercussões causadas pela disfagia na criança com Paralisia Cerebral e pontuando a importância do fonoaudiólogo neste contexto. Conclusão: No presente estudo concluiu-se que, as dificuldades referentes a disfagia infantil na Paralisia Cerebral impactam negativamente em diversos contextos, além disto, pontuou-se também o papel ímpar do fonoaudiólogo neste assunto, sendo o profissional capacitado e habilitado para atuar no que concerne as complicações decorrentes da disfagia.

Introduction: Cerebral Palsy encompasses major disorders, including dysphagia, which is present in practically all classifications, and can present in different degrees and result in several other problems such as aspirations, malnutrition, dehydration and pneumonia. Objective: Thus, this research addresses the difficulties of children with CP in relation to dysphagia and emphasizes the work of the speech-language pathologist in this environment. Methods: This is a systematic review of the literature, whose guiding question is: "What are the repercussions on dysphagia in children with Cerebral Palsy and speech-language pathology in this context?". The estimated period for the completion of the literature review study covered the months of December 2022 to August 2023. Articles related to Infantile Dysphagia and Cerebral Palsy, available in the following databases: Google Scholar, Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and Virtual Health Library (VHL) were included in full and free of charge, published in the Portuguese language from 2017 to 2022. Results: The final sample resulted in 6 articles, 3 of which were found in the Google Scholar database, 2 in the Scielo database and 1 in the VHL, presenting results on the repercussions caused by dysphagia in children with Cerebral Palsy and pointing out the importance of the speech therapist in this context. Conclusion: In the present study, it was concluded that the difficulties related to infantile dysphagia in Cerebral Palsy have a negative impact in several contexts, in addition, the unique role of the speechlanguage pathologist in this matter was also highlighted, being the trained and qualified professional to act with regard to the complications resulting from dysphagia.
