Este artigo tem o intuito de destacar a importância das coleções têxteis como patrimônio histórico e cultural. Procura-se analisar como estão sendo gerenciados os acervos têxteis no Museu Municipal Parque da Baronesa, localizado no sul do paÃs. Considerado estudo de caso, esta pesquisa busca identificar os obstáculos na gestão de acervos em tecido da instituição. Foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico sobre o patrimônio têxtil, destacando as ações e práticas executadas na preservação e conservação de acervos têxteis. Como considerações finais, esta investigação encontrou dificuldades na gestão destes bens, mas com estudos na área, busca-se colaborar e estimular mais pesquisas sobre o assunto.
This article intents to show the importance of the textile collections as a historical and cultural heritage.
We will analyze how the textile collections are being managed in the Baroness Park Museum, located in the south of the country. This research is considered a case of study that searches to identify obstacles in the management of fabric collections of the institution. We did a literature uprising about the textile heritage, fixing the attention in the actions and practices implemented in the preservation and conservation of textile collections. As conclusion, this investigation found difficulties in the administration of these assets, but with our studies, we aim to improve and stimulate more researches about this subject.
