Partindo da teoria histórico-cultural e da análise do discurso bakhtiniana, foram estudados os sentidos e significados de risco e liberdade com adolescentes em cumprimento de medida socioeducativa de internação. As produções textuais e imagéticas de uma oficina temática foram analisadas
com base nas três tradições discursivas sobre risco propostas por Mary Jane Spink e no conceito de liberdade em Vygostky. Os resultados mostram que a
vivência do risco-aventura surge em relação com o conceito vygotskiano de liberdade, uma vez que poder arriscar-se manifesta uma operação mínima
de domínio de si, não vivenciada no contexto de internação.

Starting from the historical-cultural theory and discourse analysis by Bakhtin, the meanings of risk and freedom were studied among adolescents
in compliance with socio-educational measures. Textual and image production from a thematic workshop were analyzed based on the three discursive
traditions of risk proposed by Mary Jane Spink, and the concept of freedom in Vygotsky. The results show that the experience of risk-adventure appears
related to the Vygotskian concept of freedom, once the possibility of risk manifests a minimal operation of the self-domain, not experienced in the
context of deprivation of liberty.
