Este trabalho tem como objetivo principal analisar os caracteres das personagens marginalizadas da peça teatral O abajur lilás, de Plínio Marcos. A partir do embasamento teórico acerca da autoconsciência do ser ficcional, proposta por Mikhail Bakhtin (2008), pode-se dizer que o caráter dos seres plinianos se delineia no contato destes com a realidade que os cerca. No caso da referida peça, as relações que se estabelecem entre as personagens fazem com que elas se conscientizem da situação em que se encontram. No entanto, tais relações e o próprio meio em que esses seres ficcionais estão inseridos fazem com que estes enfrentem dificuldades árduas, como a violência, o preconceito e o abuso de poder, numa tentativa de sobreviverem às mazelas sociais. Logo, sob a perspectiva bakhtiniana, ampliam-se as possibilidades de atributos dados às personagens e seus relacionamentos com quem as rodeia, o que torna seu processo de formação complexo e inacabado. Tal processo é a constante transformação que o ser fictício sofre na evolução de sua autoconsciência durante a narrativa, à medida que os conflitos surgem nas relações eu-outro.

This work has as its main objective to analyze the characters of marginalized characters of the play O abajur lilás by Plínio Marcos. From the theoretical basis about the self-awareness of fictional being, proposed by Mikhail Bakhtin (2008), it can be said that character of Plínio’s beings delineates the contact of these with the reality that surrounds them. In the case of this play, relationships that arte established between the characters makes them become awake of the situation in which they find themselves. However such relationships and the circle in which these fictional beings are inserted make these strenuous difficulties, such as violence, prejudice and abuse of power in an attempt to survive the social ills. Soon from Bakhtin’s perspective expand the possibilities of attributes to the characters and their relationships with who they’re around, which makes its complex and unfinished formation process. This process is the constant transformation that fictional being has in the evolution of his self-awareness during the narrative as conflicts arise in relationships I-the other one.
