O referido artigo busca efetuar um estudo sobre o tema pesquisa e metodologia no ensino, desta forma mostrar-se-á a história e sua prática como meio de desenvolvimento profissional usada pelo professor em suas atividades em sala de aula e no processo da pesquisa, contribuindo assim com o cotidiano educacional e com a atividade docente, tendo em vista os desafios da profissão docente nos dias atuais.
