Objetiva-se neste artigo discutir as relações entre ética, narrativas orais e memória.
O corpus analisado foi recolhido de uma pesquisa de campo realizada nos distritos de Irerê,
Paiquerê e Lerroville, na região de Londrina-Pr. Procura-se demonstrar que a memória traz
acontecimentos e histórias do passado, mas que os sentidos éticos das narrativas estão ligados
ao modo como o narrador percebe e julga o passado com um olhar atual no instante da
performance.
This article deals with the relationship among ethics, oral narratives and memory.
The corpus analyzed here comes from a field work that took place in the districts of Irerê,
Paiquerê and Lerroville, in the region of Londrina, Paraná. The aim is to demonstrate that the
memory updates events and stories from the past, but that the ethical senses of the narratives are
connected to the way in which the narrator perceives and judges the past with a present
perspective while the performance is taking place.
