Our paper discusses the relationship between poetry and cinema. There are
several known cases in which poetry keeps liaison with other arts, assimilating
or lending features to enrich its content. The analysis of intersemiotic
cinematographic work, for example, can send us to study the presence of poetry
in the context of cinema, introducing the prospect of a poiesis that questions the
idea of a poetry tied to the written record. The film Terra em transe by Glauber
