Políticas culturales en la última dictadura argentina (1976-1983): fiestas oficiales, reinvención de tradiciones hispânicas e interstícios de resistência artística

Along this article we analyze a little explored process: cultural policies developed by the last argentine dictatorship. This study object allows us to visualize some of the art programs of the regime, which, along with repression measures, tried to (re) found a traditional social order built on the trilogy “God, motherland and family.” We single out official celebrations that recalled the anniversary of the foundation by Spain of the second city in the country (Córdoba). Then, we will get into certain features of cultural policies implemented not only in the aforementioned province but throughout the country. The text presents four intertwined paths: official and dissident ‘culture’ representations, (dis)continuities in dictatorship ceremonies, 1981 performances of visual arts, theatre and music, and interstices of pictorial resistance

En este artículo analizamos un proceso escasamente explorado: las políticas culturales desarrolladas por la última dictadura argentina. Este objeto de estudio nos permite visibilizar algunos programas artísticos del régimen, unos dispositivos que, junto a las medidas represivas, intentaban (re)fundar un orden social tradicional cimentado en la trilogía de “Dios, patria y familia”. Como caso privilegiado abordamos las fiestas oficiales que rememoraban el aniversario fundacional español de la segunda ciudad del país (Córdoba). A partir de allí podremos adentrarnos en ciertas características de la política cultural desplegadas no solo en dicha provincia sino también en el resto del país. El texto ofrece cuatro recorridos entrelazados: representaciones oficiales y disidentes de “cultura”, (dis) continuidades en las ceremonias dictatoriales, performances de 1981 entre artes plásticas, teatrales y musicales, e intersticios de resistencia pictórica.
