Este artigo apresenta aspectos da variedade lingüÃstica de Cocal-GO. A partir do reconhecimento da comunidade lingüÃstica em questão, da revisão teórica e utilizando as teorias sobre funcionamento da lÃngua em contexto de uso real, discute-se o comportamento lingüÃstico dos cocalenses no que diz respeito à ordem de ocupação do pronome-sujeito, a coerência da flexão verbal e o preconceito lingüÃstico.
This article presents aspects of linguistic variety in the Cocal-GO. Starting from recognition of the linguistic community, from theoretic revision and utilizing the theories involving language functioning in a real use context, it debates the linguistic behavior of the cocalenses in relation to the placement of the subject pronoun, the coherence of verbal flexion and linguistic prejudice.
