Este trabalho está voltado para compreender um recurso legislativo pouco estudado pelos estudiosos dos Estudos Legislativos, os Projetos de Indicação. Este dispositivo formal nos oferece uma ferramenta importante para compreender a orientação dos vereadores quanto ao uso desta proposição. Este instrumento legal tem como função sugerir ou indicar uma demanda aos órgãos competentes. Nosso estudo voltou-se para analisar o Legislativo municipal de Salvador. Na literatura atual sobre a produção legislativa das unidades subnacionais, a ênfase das pesquisas recai mais sobre os estados brasileiros, deixando pouca margem ao município. E quando há trabalhos sobre os municípios, a literatura dominante - em geral - têm privilegiado o eixo Sul-Sudeste.

This work is directed to understand a feature legislative little studied by scholars of Legislative Studies, projects of Indication. This formal device offers us an important tool to understand the orientation of local councillors regarding the use of this proposition. This legal instrument has as function suggest or indicate a demand for competent bodies. Our study was focused to analyze the municipal legislature Salvador. In the current literature on legislative output of the subnational units, the emphasis of the research is more on Brazilian states, leaving little to the municipality. And when there are works on the municipalities, the dominant literature - in general - have privileged the south-southeast axis.
