In this work we determined the permanent temperature of a homogeneous bar, subject to initial and boundary conditions that depend on a real parameter. The problem to be solved was to find the analytical solution of the heat equation u_t = alpha ^ 2 u_xx with the initial condition u (x, 0) = 0, 0 <= x <= L and the boundary conditions u (0 , t) = 0 eu (L, t) = sin t, t> 0.
