O ensino da língua hebraica apresenta dificuldades particulares no âmbito do ensino/aprendizagem de línguas estrangeiras. Uma destas dificuldades, e, certamente a maior de todas, é a distância que a língua hebraica apresenta em relação à língua materna do aluno, o português. O objetivo deste artigo centra-se na apresentação de algumas propostas para um ensino da língua hebraica, fundamentado nos pressupostos teóricos e práticos da Língüística Contrastiva, em concordância com as necessidades específicas do aprendiz de Teologia.
The teaching of the Hebrew language presents particular difficulties in the context of teaching/learning foreign languages. One of these difficulties, and certainly the greatest of all, is the distance that the Hebrew language presents in relation to the student's native language, Portuguese. The objective of this article focuses on the presentation of some proposals for teaching the Hebrew language, based on the theoretical and practical assumptions of Contrastive Linguistics, in accordance with the specific needs of theology students.
