O referido artigo trata de uma investigação junto a trabalhadores da Política de Assistência Social (PAS) em um município do estado do Ceará que teve por objetivo compreender as suas relações com seus lugares de trabalho. A pesquisa sustenta-se nos arcabouços da Psicologia Ambiental transacional e na Psicologia Social de vertente Sócio-Histórica. Elegeu-se a Afetividade para elucidar aspectos de caráter físico-estrutural e simbólico das relações humano-ambientais. Utilizou-se o Instrumento Gerador de Mapas Afetivos para aferição da estima de lugar dos trabalhadores e para a análise de suas imagens afetivas. Os resultados mostram a prevalência da imagem de Contrastes potencializadores e despotencializadores relacionados às condições materiais de trabalho e às relações interpessoais. Por fim, o trabalho demonstra contribuição à gestão de políticas públicas a partir da investigação de relações humano-ambientais.

This article presents an investigation that aimed to understand the relations of Social Assistance Policy workers in a city in the state of Ceará with their workplaces. The research is based on contributions from transactional Environmental Psychology and Cultural-Historical Psychology . Affectivity was chosen to elucidate physical-structural and symbolic aspects of human-environmental relations. The Affective Map Generator Instrument was used to measure the workers' Esteem for the Place and analyze their affective images. The results show the prevalence of the image of potentiating and depotentiating contrasts related to the availability of resources and interpersonal relationships. Finally, the work demonstrates a contribution to the management of public policies based on the investigation of human-environmental relations.

El artículo presenta una investigación que tuvo como objetivo comprender las relaciones de los trabajadores de la Política de Asistencia Social de una ciudad del estado de Ceará con sus lugares de trabajo. La investigación se basa en contribuciones de la Psicología Ambiental Transaccional y la Psicología Histórico-Cultural. Se eligió la afectividad para dilucidar aspectos físico-estructurales y simbólicos de las relaciones humano-ambientales. Se utilizó el Instrumento Generador de Mapas Afectivos para medir la Estima del Lugar de los trabajadores y analizar sus imágenes afectivas. Los resultados muestran la prevalencia de la imagen de contrastes potencializadores y despotenciadores relacionados con la disponibilidad de recursos y las relaciones interpersonales. El trabajo demuestra un aporte a la gestión de políticas públicas a partir de la investigación sobre relaciones humano-ambientales.
