Este artigo tem por objetivo avaliar a qualidade da água utilizada pela Comunidade Quilombola Córrego Fundo, localizada no munícipio de Brejinho de Nazaré, Tocantins. O consumo desta água é voltado principalmente para o abastecimento doméstico e agrícola. Para a avaliação foram determinados parâmetros físico-químicos e microbiológicos em três pontos de amostragem, a fim de compreender o quadro em que se encontra a água local, tendo como referência os padrões determinados pela resolução CONAMA nº 357/2005, pela Portaria MS nº 2914/2011 e pelas literaturas técnicas vigentes. Além disso, a pesquisa buscou contribuir com informações que orientassem na tomada de decisões dos gestores públicos e da própria comunidade, uma vez que os resultados obtidos constataram que a água está fora dos padrões estabelecidos pelas legislações, sendo incompatível ao uso para o qual é destinada.
This article aims to evaluate the water quality used by the Corrego Fundo Quilombola Community, located in the municipality of Brejinho de Nazaré, Tocantins. Consumption of this water focuses on domestic and agricultural supplies. Physical-chemical and microbiological parameters were determined at three sampling points to understand the local water table, based on the standards established by CONAMA Resolution No. 357/2005, by Decree MS nº 2914 / 2011 and by the current technical literature. The research sought to contribute with information that guided the decision-making of public managers and the community itself since the results obtained showed that the water is outside the standards established by the legislation, incompatible with the intended use.
