O presente trabalho tem como objetivo compreender o processo de organização do Bangu Athletic Club e o seu progressivo e dependente relacionamento com a Companhia Progresso Industrial do Brasil. Num primeiro momento, busca-se evidenciar a importância da fábrica na construção e estruturação do bairro de Bangu. Posteriormente, o esforço concentra-se na relação dependente entre fábrica e clube, reestruturando não somente o seu aspecto geográfico, mas, sobretudo, na reconfiguração no tempo de lazer.
The present work aims to understand the process of organizing the Bangu Athletic Club and its progressive and dependent relationship with the Company Industrial Progress of Brazil. At first, we highlight the importance of the factory building and structuring of the neighborhood of Bangu. Subsequently, the effort focuses on the dependent relationship between the factory and club, not only restructuring its geographical aspect, but especially in the reconfiguration in leisure time.
