O Jongo esteve presente nas atividades regularesda Educação Física em uma escola em Oswaldo Cruz, subúrbio da cidade do Rio de Janeiro, em 2018. Ele já foi registrado como patrimônio imaterial, demonstrando assim sua importância para a história, a memória e a formação de identidades com referências africanas no Brasil, e no caso, pelo Sudestee no Rio de Janeiro.Diante disso e devido à nossa localidade, território de Jongo e Samba, e tão próxima à Madureira, sede do Jongo da Serrinha, fizemos parceira com a professora de Educação Infantil e efetivamos um projeto conjunto. Para o planejamento em questão foram usados alguns documentos oficiais, como também material produzido pela academia e pela auto-organização das comunidades jongueiras. Mantivemos a premissa de uma educação que valorizasse a diversidade cultural, conformeo Projeto Político Pedagógico da escola, de mesmo nome, com uma perspectiva antirracista, que destacasse também a temática da ancestralidade
ongo was present in regular Physical Education activities at a school in Oswaldo Cruz, a suburb of the city of Rio de Janeiro, in 2018. It has already been registered asan intangible heritage, thus demonstrating its importance for the history, memory and formation of identities with African references in Brazil, and in this case, in the southeast and in Rio de Janeiro. In view of this and due to our location, the territory of Jongo and Samba, and so close to Madureira, the headquarters of Jongo da Serinha, we partnered with the Early Childhood Education teacher and implemented a joint project. For the planning in question, some official documents were used, as well as material produced by the academy and by the self-organization of the Jongo's communitie. We maintained the premise of an education that valued cultural diversity, in accordance with the School's Political Pedagogical Project, with an anti-racist perspective, which also highlighted the theme of ancestry.
