No presente artigo, descrevemos a análise de Frantz Fanon no clássico Pele negra, máscaras brancas sobre a posição psicoexistencial do negro, sua relação com o corpo, a subjetividade, o ser Outro e o mundo nos campos da cultura, da sociedade e das ciências . Apresentamos, em uma perspectiva pós-colonial, como a existência do sujeito negro se reflete, a partir da crítica de Fanon, nos conceitos estabelecidos pelo Ocidente na Modernidade, como a representação do negro mistificado e as bases epistemológicas que reforçam estereótipos destinados a ele.
In this article we describe Fanon's analysis in the classical Black skin, white masks about the psycho-existential position of black people, their relationship with their body, subjectivity, be Other one and the world in the regarding to of culture, society and sciences. We present a postcolonial perspective about how the existence of black people is reflected here, based on Fanon's critique about concepts established by the West in Modernity, such as the representation of the mystified black person and the epistemological basis that reinforce stereotypes intended for this individual.
