REDUÇÃO DE TEMPOS DE SETUP DE MÁQUINAS IMPRESSORAS DE UMA INDÚSTRIA DE EMBALAGENS: ESTUDO DE CASO

Resumo Português:

O objetivo principal deste trabalho foi melhorar a produtividade de uma
indústria gráfica de embalagens. As atividades iniciaram com uma pesquisa de
campo junto a empresas fabricantes e usuárias de máquinas impressoras na
Itália. Foi verificado que a principal causa da baixa produtividade era a fase
de setup das máquinas. Foram identificados e quantificados os fatores que
afetavam o tempo de setup, por comparação entre a empresa em análise e a
empresa objeto da pesquisa de campo. Foi elaborado um plano de ação,
montandas equipes treinadas nas técnicas de manufatura enxuta. Os
resultados mostraram a eficácia das medidas corretivas adotadas.

Resumo Inglês:

The principal goal of this paper was to improve the productivity in a flexible
packaging industry. The activities had started with a field survey together
with the manufactures companies, which also are users of printing machine
in Italy. It had been verified and quantified all the reasons that affected the
setup step, comparing the company that is under analysis and the objectcompany
of the survey field. An action plan had been elaborated, setting up
trained teams in the lean manufacturing area. The results showed the
effectiveness of the improvement attitudes.
