O presente artigo tem por objetivo consolidar a importancia da Igreja e sua relevancia na comunidade local. Mostrar a necessidade da Igreja conhecer as demandas da sociedade e se apresentar para ajudar e cumprir sua missão. Apresenta o inicio da igreja desde a grande comissão entregue por Jesus aos seus discípulos. Descreve a história da igreja Primitiva e sua relevancia em seu tempo. Destaca Cristo como pedra angular sua base e principal fundamento. Descreve o evangelismo como sua missão principal. Mostra as atribuições da igreja como importantes para relevancia da igreja contemporânea detacando adoração a Deus pelo que representa para igreja, comunhão entre os irmãos ajudando uns aos outros e testemunho para o mundo de uma comunidade que vive os ensinamentos Biblicos. Conclui com os desafios da igreja atualmente de influenciar na sociedade com bons exemplos e atitudes ,socorrer a comunidade nas suas necessidades e servir a cristo como Senhor de nossas vidas cumprindo seus ensinamentos e as pessoas como objetivo de serem alcançadas pela salvação em Jesus por intermedio da ação da igreja.
This article aims to consolidate the importance of the Church and its relevance in the local community. It shows the need for the Church to know the demands of society and to present itself to help and fulfill its mission. It presents the beginning of the church since the great commission given by Jesus to his disciples. It describes the history of the Primitive church and its relevance in its time. It highlights Christ as the cornerstone, its base and main foundation. It describes evangelism as its main mission. It shows the attributions of the church as important for the relevance of the contemporary church, highlighting worship of God for what it represents for the church, communion among brothers helping each other and witnessing to the world of a community that lives the Biblical teachings. It concludes with the challenges of the church today to influence society with good examples and attitudes, help the community in its needs and serve Christ as Lord of our lives, fulfilling his teachings and people as the objective of being reached by salvation in Jesus through the action of the church.
