RELIGIÃO E SOCIEDADE: CONSIDERAÇÕES A PARTIR DE MARX E FREUD

Analisar a relação entre religião e sociedade a partir das formulações teóricas de Karl Heinrich Marx (1818-1883), representante da corrente de pensamento denominada materialismo histórico e dialético que
consolidou suas teses em meados do século XIX e Sigmund Freud (1856-1939), precursor da psicanálise
no inicio do século XX, acerca do fenômeno religioso e da sua influência sobre as relações sociais é o
objetivo do presente artigo. Para tanto, buscamos identificar as condições necessárias para que o fenômeno religioso estabelecesse uma espécie de lugar comum no ideário desses autores, evidenciar os aspectos subjetivos concernentes à religião e, semelhantemente, destacar também os fatores sociais, culturais e econômicos que constituem o campo de atuação das ideias religiosas.

To analyze the relationship between religion and society from theoretical formulations of Karl Heinrich Marx (1818-1883), representative of the school of thought called dialectical and historical materialism which consolidated their thesis in the mid-nineteenth century and Sigmund Freud (1856-1939), precursor of psychoanalysis in the early twentieth century, about the religious phenomenon and its influence on social relations is the goal of this article. To this end, we seek to identify the conditions necessary to establish that the religious phenomenon a kind of commonplace ideas in these authors highlight the subjective aspects pertaining to religion and, likewise, also highlight the social, cultural and economic factors that constitute the field the performance of religious ideas.
