O presente artigo relata a trajetória de pesquisa inicial em busca
das representações do Ensino Rural em Uberabinha 1888-l930, partindo do
inÃcio da estruturação do MunicÃpio à s próximas décadas que, influenciadas
pelo pensamento do progresso e modernidade, tenderam a sobrepor o ensino
urbano ao ensino rural.
Resumo Inglês:
The present article reports on a research in search of the
representations of the Rural Teaching in Uberabinha (1888-l930). It gives
information about the initial structuring of the city that was influenced by the
progress and modernity what made the urban education to surpass the rural
one.
