O artigo tem por objetivo apresentar os resultados iniciais da pesquisa desenvolvida na Faculdade de Serviço Social da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora intitulada: “Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde e Serviço Social: mapeamento teórico e político-pedagógico”. As residências multiprofissionais em saúde avançam no Brasil a partir de 2010, por meio de políticas indutoras do Ministério da Saúde e Educação. Neste mesmo período, estas áreas se tornam fonte de amplo investimento e lucratividade para o capital, trazendo diversos impactos para a formação e o trabalho em saúde. O Serviço Social amplia a sua inserção nos Programas e também a produção de conhecimentos, contribuindo para os debates, reflexões e indicações de desafios e potencialidades da inserção dos assistentes sociais na residência.
The article aims to present the initial results of the research developed at the Faculty of Social Service of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora entitled: "Multiprofessional Residency in Health and Social Work: theoretical and political-pedagogical mapping". Multiprofessional health residences are advancing in Brazil as of 2010, through inductive policies of the Ministry of Health and Education. In this same period, these areas become a source of broad investment and profitability for capital, bringing diverse impacts to health education and work. The Social Service extends its insertion in the Programs and also the production of knowledge, contributing to the debates, reflections and indications of challenges and potential of the insertion of social workers.
