Análise de narratives que descrevem cenas de convívio ou de interação cotidiana entre portugueses e indígenas, nos séculos XVI e XVII, privilegiando demonstrações de alegria, de senso de humor e de práticas lúdicas, com a interação de verificar o quanto são realmente indicativos de um “traço de união” e de similitude menos evidente entre as culturas em efetivo contato é o tema desse artigo.
The analysis of narratives that describe scenes of conviviality or daily interaction between Portuguese and Indians, along the 16th and 17th centuries, privileging demonstrations of joy, of sense of humor and amusement with the intention to verify how much they are really indicative of a “trace of union" and of less evident similitude between cultures in effective contact is the subject of this article.
