Neste artigo analisaremos a versão catalã das Gestes dels comtes de Barcelona i Reis d’Aragó. Após a tradução desta fonte para o português identificamos que o conteúdo da narrativa ora simplesmente descrevia as sucessões dos reinados, ora acrescentava informações detalhadas sobre os condes-reis. Assim, trabalharemos com estas seqüências, as quais se referem aos principais temas históricos relacionados à dinastia dos condes de Barcelona.
In this article we analyse the Catalan
version of the Deeds of the counts of Barcelona
and kings of Aragon. Having translated this
document into Portuguese, we can observe
that the narrative not only describes the succession
of kingdoms, but that it also offers
additional information on the counts-kings.
Thus, we work with the sequences containing
this information which refer to the principal
historical themes of the dynasty of the
counts of Barcelona.
