Analisando a escola através de uma perspectiva coletiva,como agente colaborador da formação humana e da inserção do indivíduo no meio social, é importante enfatizar sua importância nos debates que fazem menção a promoção daigualdade e respeito. É mediante tais discussões que como presente trabalho objetivou-secompreender o modo como no âmbito escolar é trabalhado o conceito de gênero, e os debates em torno da construção social e cultural do que é ser homem e ser mulher, observando através do estudo de campo como os discursos machistas e misóginos se fazem presentes nos depoimentos dos estudantes, percebendo como isto também influencia suaspráticas cotidianas. Objetivou-se também, e sobretudo, analisarqual é o papel da escola frente as questões emergenciais como a violência de gênero.

Analyzing the school through a collective perspective and as a collaborating agent of the human formation and of the insertion of the individual in the social environment, it is important to emphasize its importance in the debates that mention the promotion of equality and respect. It is through these discussions that the present work aims to understand the way in which the concept of gender in the school is worked, and the debates around the social and cultural construction of what it is to be a man and to be a woman, observing through field study as the machismo and misogynist discourses are present in the students' statements, realizing how this also influences the practices of their daily lives. It is also intended, and above all, to analyze the role of the school in the face of emergency issues such as gender violence.
