Este trabalho se propõe a discutir alguns problemas que perpassam a escrita biográfica e a análise de trajetórias individuais no campo da história, buscando trazer à discussão o leque de alternativas metodológicas que são possíveis ao historiador ao investigar um problema a partir do estudo de uma vida, bem como os desafios a serem transpostos ao longo deste percurso.
This article analyzes problems inserted in biographical writing and individual careers in history research. The objective is to bring to the discussion of the methodological possibilities that are possible for the historian to investigate a problem from the study of a lifetime, and the challenges to be overcome along this route.
