O presente artigo apresenta relatos sobre as edições da Semana de Estudos Brasileiros e Indígenas do Instituto Federal do Paraná –Campus Campo Largo, que é organizada anualmente pelo Núcleo de Estudos Afro-Brasileiros e Indígenas (NEABI). O evento visa compartilhar resultados de pesquisas, ações de extensão e atividades culturais voltadas ao respeito às diversidades e ao combate à discriminação racial. As atividades foram realizadas de forma virtual em 2020 devido à pandemia de COVID-19. Por meio da descrição das palestras, debates e concursos culturais que caracterizaram os eventos, o artigo objetiva discutir a relevância das atividades extensionistas para a Educação das Relações Étnico-Raciais e os impactos da pandemia na promoção de eventos virtuais relacionados a temáticas como diversidade e antirracismo. Participantes inscritos na Semana de Estudosresponderam a questões para avaliar as atividades e indicaram que o evento foi exitoso. De forma majoritária, o público afirma que participaria novamente de uma ação extensionista nos mesmos moldes. Novos espaços de formação e debate foram conquistados com o modelo a distância, pois houve maior interação de participantes e palestrantes de locais longínquos. Todavia, o evento virtual impossibilitou a realização de oficinas, apresentações de dança, dramatizações e pinturas de murais. Por isso, defende-se o formato híbrido para as próximas edições, já que manteria a comunicação com representantes de movimentos sociais e universidades de todo o Brasil e, ao mesmo tempo, garantiria interação e proximidade com a comunidade escolar

This article presents reports on the Week of Brazilian and Indigenous Studies of the Federal Institute of Paraná –Campo Largo Campus, which is organized annually by the Nucleus of Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Studies (NEABI). The event aims to share research results, extension actions and cultural activities aimed at respecting diversity and combating racial discrimination. In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, activities were carried out virtually. Through the description of the lectures, debates and cultural contests that characterized the event, the article aims to discuss the relevance of extension activities for Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations and the impacts of the pandemic on the promotion of virtual events related to themes on diversity and anti-racism. Answers to the questions proposed to the participants of the Study Week were intended to evaluate the activities and indicated that the event was successful and that the public would participate again in an extension action along the same lines. New spaces for training and debate were conquered with the distance model, there was a greater geographic reach of participants and speakers, and it was possible to give greater visibility to NEABI's actions. However, the virtual event made it impossible to hold workshops and roundtables. The article defends the hybrid format for future editions, as it would maintain communication with representatives of social movements and universities throughout Brazil and, at the same time, guarantee interaction and proximity with the school community.
