Resumo: O presente estudo tem por objetivo estabelecer as semelhanças e diferenças existentes entre as pinturas ilusionistas de Igrejas do meio norte mineiro – Diamantina e Serro – com as pinturas de São Paulo - Mogi das Cruzes. Embora não haja comprovação do deslocamento dos autores que executaram cada obra nas diferentes localidades, por meio das imagens é possível apresentar o diálogo intenso na forma e no esquema compositivo das pinturas.

Abstract: This study aims to establish the similarities and differences between the illusionist paintings of churches in the north of Minas Gerais - Diamantina and Serro - with the paintings of São Paulo - Mogi das Cruzes. Although there is no evidence of the displacement of the authors who executed each work in different locations, through the images it is possible to present an intense dialogue in the form and compositional scheme of the paintings.
