Este trabalho apresenta um relato de experiência e reflexões de acadêmicos do curso de Licenciatura em Música do CEART/UDESC, durante a atuação como bolsistas no projeto de extensão intitulado Oficina de Música , vinculado ao NUPEART Núcleo Pedagógico de Educação e Arte. Inicialmente, contextualizamos o NUPEART e o projeto da Oficina de Música como atividades de extensão do CEART/UDESC. Em seguida, descrevemos as aulas da Oficina durante o segundo semestre de 2004 e o primeiro semestre de 2005. Por fim, refletimos sobre todo o processo de ser professor, abordando algumas questões como o planejamento e a prática musical em sala de aula.



Resumo Inglês:

This article presents the experiences and the reflections of the music teachers students, attending the Licenciatura em Música at UDESC, from their participation in the community project Oficina de Música. The project is part of the NUPEART program. In the project the future music teachers gave class for public school children. The classes and activities described took place during the second semester of 2004 and the first semester of 2005. The report first gives an introduction to the NUPEART program and to the community project. Then the process towards becoming a music teacher is discussed with special reflections on the planning of the lessons and the class room practices.
